Friends of Adelaide International Bird Sanctuary (FAIBS) will be holding an event at Middle Beach next Sunday, 14th of April between 9am and 12.30pm
How To Get There:
Head along Port Wakefield Road, one km past Two Wells, then look for the brown sign on the left – “Middle Beach Education Centre”. Turn left onto Middle Beach Rd and travel 7 km to the end, then bear right to the kiosk and park.
Activity:
This month’s FAIBS activity in the Bird Sanctuary will be to:
- Make a plan and lists of how to fix up the trail signs and boardwalk.
- Map the habitat features of the Samphire Thornbill.
- Meet with other keen Friends and have a social outing.
Please Bring:
Your morning tea, water bottle, sunscreen, hat, insect repellent, closed toe shoes and if keen on bird watching, a camera and binoculars. Gloves and any tools required will be supplied, but bring your own if you prefer.
A scope will be available so interested persons can undertake some bird spotting after our activities.
